Gil Barkey: Sharp, savvy skill on the ball. Good, quick feet with good touch on passes. Still building on the long distance strike and consistent driven balls. Good receiving and positive first touch looking to attack or quickly combine. Good possession oriented player that is versatile for numerous positions.
Gil Barkey: At ACM keep ball hunting and we want the play to always go through you. Find the ball and then look to create from there. Quick counter attacks and switches will be important. See as much of the field as you can every time you possess. Don't force passes but also strike the balance to be creative and find your way through with quick combinations or killer passes. Keep developing the decision on when to shoot or hold possession, playing with more patience.
Gil Barkey: Good strong base. Keep working on that quick first step and explosiveness with the ball. You hold your ground well and play well with back to goal. Your endurance is steadily increasing.
Gil Barkey: Mentally you have been through a lot as a player which has made you stronger. I love that you always just want to play but also don't lose sight of the little things that make us all better. When we can stop and focus on a little part of the game it has improved us as a whole. Give everything to those moments just as much as you do to the games. I love your competitive spirit and desire to win.
Gil Barkey:
Jane, I am really glad that you made it back to the field for your senior year and I had the chance to coach you. You are a valuable player but an even more valuable teammate. You have the opportunity to make others better around you by the decisions you make on the field. We haven't yet seen the player you can be and with every day I see more from you. It's important to let it catch up to you. You were a good leader for us this season and I hope your experiences in high school soccer will be of benefit to you for a lifetime.
