GK Technical

Shot Stopping/Diving
You showed a lot of potential at the camp. Shot stopping is such a key component to Goalkeeping and you showed you could make the routine save and the big save. Make sure to keep improving on your footwork and holding the ball more consistently. Remember if you can’t hold a ball, you need to put it out of the danger zone.
Crosses and High Balls
You showed that you have a lot of potential when it comes to dealing with crosses. A lot of dealing with crosses is a mental game and you showed that you have the confidence to come for balls in your area. Make sure you aren’t getting caught in between. Be decisive and be a leader in the back. Make sure your starting position is correct and when you attack the ball and you attack it at the highest point. Also, when going back on a ball make sure you don’t get caught back pedaling, but rather cross over.
Distribution
Your distribution was solid throughout the camp. You have good distance and accuracy on your punts and goal kicks. Make sure you create better angles to receive the ball from your teammates and always look to be an option. Make sure when you distribute with your throws, that your teammates have the time and space to receive the ball. Be sure to give them articulate directions after you play them the ball.
Jason Hotaling : Great job, make sure you set your feet on shots and make sure you are always coming forward on shots. Continue to communicate but make sure your defenders are doing what you are telling them.

GK Tactical

One on One's
You showed good presence on 1v1,s but your starting position needs work. Make sure that you are always in the right position even when the ball is higher up the field. There can always be a ball played in behind and you don’t want to get caught out of position, leaving to much of the goal open.
Communicating
You showed a great reading of the game and directed your team well. To get even better, go to collegiate/high level games and listen to how those Keepers talk to their team. By studying the game, you will become even better at being a leader.

GK Mentality

Confidence
You have a great presence about you. You showed that you didn’t get flustered in any position. Continue to be a positive influence on yourself and your team. Coaches see that.
Focus/Concentration
You did a great job of being focused all camp. Goalkeeping is a position where you cant let your mind wander and you could tell that your concentration was on point.
