Athletic build. Aesthetically pleasing behind the plate. Work on strength in core and legs to increase his ability behind the plate. Utilize agility drills to increase lateral movement. Utilize band work/long toss to strengthen arm.
Athletic stance. Good rhythm. Load tends to be started late at times, which effects his lower half efficiency and path to ball. Tends to be upper half dominate after contact which effects his extension and balance. Start earlier and slower to improve ability to repeat mechanics.
Athletic stance behind the plate. + footwork. Long transfer through exchange which slows arm down and effects pop time. Stay through throw.
+ hands/soft. Work on centering the ball when receiving. Don't "frame" the pitch. Present it to umpire by shifting behind ball. Blocks well on balls in front. Work on getting around balls in dirt outside his body frame.
